The River Thames

In the west of England near the ancient Roman town of Cirencester, the famous River Thames starts the roughly 200 mile journey from the Thames Source to The Thames Estuary where it meets the waters of the North Sea.

Along its way, The River Thames passes through some of the most beautiful countryside and most historical sites in England. Keen ramblers as well as those opting for shorter walks have long enjoyed the natural beauty of both land and river walking along the Thames Path.
