Bell Rope Meadow

if you are in or near the beautiful village of Cookham and fancy some relaxing time by the River Thames, Bell Rope Meadow is a good place to go. There are several benches dotted around, offering shade and a good view of moored boats and the hustle and bustle on the river.

Surrounding Area

The meadow itself is suitable for short walks of around 15-20 minutes, but there's plenty of opportunity for longer walks beyond (for example along the Thames Path or up to Winter Hill).

Then, of course, there's the village of Cookham with it's pretty centre, fine restaurants, old inns and the nearby lock and weir.
