Pinkhill Lock

Pinkhill Lock lies close to Farmoor, Oxfordshire. It is 6.21 km (3.86 mi) downstream from Northmoor Lock and 2.38 km (1.48 mi) upstream from Eynsham Lock. The first lock was built of stone by Daniel Harris for the Thames Navigation Commission in 1791.

The lock area is very picturesque but there are no facilities.

Beyond the lock

A short walk from the lock lies Farmoor Reservoir, where you can enjoy a tranquil walk or quiet picnic in amongst abundant wildlife and good views.
