Reading

Within the last few years, Reading has undergone a remarkable transformation, and is now one of the most modern towns in the Thames Valley. With the arrival of the Oracle, a large modern shopping mall, it is a definite must for anyone looking to shop for the day in the Thames Valley.

The image to the left features the area outside of the Oracle by the riverside. It is a great place to just sit and relax after some shopping on a warm day, and canopies provide shade on hot days.

Despite its modern image Reading is rich in history, and many historic relics such as the remnants of Reading Abbey (below right) can still be found throughout the town.
